| There are many corners of Rome that are worth visiting and which tourist regularly forget about. One of these is the Orange Tree Garden. This is in the Aventino area, where there are some beautiful basilicas and two small gardens. One of these is the Orange Tree Garden, from which you can enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Rome.
The Jewish quarter is full of jewels literally covered by the dark streets that hide them. It is good to get away from the noise of Largo Argentina and go to the centre of the district. To feel the water of the Turtle Fountain is a saint’s hand which, like that of the sculpted lads, encourages and sustains the stroller. The whole of Mattei square is an oasis of the most genuine Rome, which brings together palaces, renaissance sculptures like the Giacomo della Porta, the old packed houses, the black tiles and the fresh, marvellous water of the city. With the wind in favour, you can smell the roast almonds and a thousand delicious bakers on the corner of via Reginella and Portico Ottaviani... and with a sweet taste in your mouth, it is easier to climb to the noise and spectacular Campidoglio.
